Local guide

Festivals, all year.

Puget Sound does not have a festival season. It has festivals in every season. Summer brings Seafair, Bite of Seattle, and Bumbershoot. Spring brings Northwest Folklife and the Seattle Center cultural festivals. Fall brings the Washington State Fair, the Dungeness Crab Festival, and Oktoberfest. Winter brings Holiday Magic in Puyallup and holiday events across the region. This guide covers the major festivals in Puget Sound, Kitsap County, Gig Harbor, Tacoma, and Seattle, organized by season, with dates, locations, and practical tips.

From Olalla Bay, most of these festivals are a day trip. Gig Harbor is 10 minutes away. Tacoma and Puyallup are under 45 minutes. Seattle is about an hour.
