Thanksgiving menus appear late in this area: several well known local restaurants had not announced anything yet when we checked, and we say so rather than guess. Dinner out: the Clearwater Thanksgiving Day Buffet

The one verified sit-down Thanksgiving dinner for 2026 is in Suquamish, about 40 minutes north of Olalla. Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort serves its Thanksgiving Day Buffet on Thursday, November 26, 2026, 11 am to 4 pm, at the Clearwater Event Center. The resort describes a traditional holiday feast: carved favorites, comforting side dishes, fresh seasonal salads, and desserts. Reserve through the resort, and go early in the window if the afternoon is spoken for.

Closer to the house, the honest answer for late October is: not announced yet. We checked the own sites of Anthony's at Gig Harbor, Brix 25, Morso Bistro, and Tides Tavern, plus restaurants in Port Orchard, Bremerton, and Poulsbo, and none had published a 2026 Thanksgiving dinner as of this writing. Preorder the whole meal: Town & Country, Poulsbo

If the plan is dinner at home without the full production, Town & Country Market in Poulsbo takes holiday reservations for everything: full meals, turkeys, hams, sides, and pie, ordered through the market's order site. It is the big market on 10th Avenue NE, the former Central Market, and its holiday program is the most complete preorder setup in Kitsap. Order ahead; the good pickup slots go first.

Vegetarian cooks get one useful date from the same market: a Vegetarian's Thanksgiving Table cooking class on Thursday, November 5, 2026, 4 to 6 pm. It is a class, not a menu, and we list it as one. No local restaurant had published a 2026 Thanksgiving menu with a vegetarian entree as of late October; the Clearwater buffet's salads and sides are the sit-down fallback.

Earn the pie: three turkey trots

Gig Harbor Turkey Trot. Thursday, November 26, 8 am, from Judson Street downtown. A family-friendly 5K around the harbor, all ages and abilities. Bring two cans of food for BackPack for Kids and the FISH Food Bank. No dogs.

Silverdale Rotary Turkey Trot. Thursday, November 26, 8 am, at Newberry Hill Heritage Park. 1-mile, 5K, and 10K courses through the woods. There is no race-day registration in 2026; the last in-person sign-ups are November 22 and November 24 at Dick's Sporting Goods in the Kitsap Mall, so register ahead.

Bremerton Turkey Trot. Thursday, November 26, at Evergreen Rotary Park, run by Bremerton Foodline. Festivities start at 7 am and the course starts at 9 am sharp, a waterfront route from Evergreen Park to the Warren Avenue Bridge, across to the Manette Bridge, and back. Costumes encouraged. Register by November 13 to guarantee the swag.

The weekend after

Friday, November 27. Clearwater follows its buffet with a Holiday Tree Lighting, 4 to 7 pm, with a buffet, caroling, and activities. In Poulsbo, the Tree Lighting Ceremony is at 5:30 pm at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park on Front Street.

Friday to Sunday, November 27 to 29. The Poulsbo Heritage Museum Holiday Market runs 10 am to 4 pm on Front Street: local makers and gifts, and the first serious Christmas shopping of the season.

Saturday, November 28. Bremerton Winterfest fills Quincy Square downtown on Small Business Saturday: live performances, photos with Santa, a holiday market, and the tree lighting. The organizer has not published 2026 clock times yet, so check before you go.
